MM was showing us earth for goodness knows why, but mark me, next year they will have the lunar 5 story line...youll see!nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02475371319638528433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29106808.post-43611812826307390542007-03-28T07:06:00.000-04:002007-03-28T07:06:00.000-04:00Bear McCreary posted in his blog that Ron Moore as...Bear McCreary posted in his blog that Ron Moore asked him to compose 'All Along the Watchtower' as it was from a songwriter from the 12 Colonies, with no connection to the Earth-version. Bear says the lyrics might have come to Dylan's head and the unknown composer's head from the same ethereal source. <BR/>That's why I think its about the lyrics, not the Dylan-song itself.Freevohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12630869943975627884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29106808.post-31847812999686561812007-03-27T01:29:00.000-04:002007-03-27T01:29:00.000-04:00Interesting theory. Assuming your theory is correct, the Dylan song clip could have travelled say 40 years before reaching the Galactica position by the nebula. That could then potentially put the fleet in our exact time. It kinda is a throw back to the orginal series episode where Apollo is fiddling with the Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13101463988705561189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29106808.post-55701132788407368202007-03-26T23:32:00.000-04:002007-03-26T23:32:00.000-04:00That's an interesting theory. My theory is that they just needed some kind of signal, some arbitrary song, and that the writer is a big fan of Dylan, and those lyrics just really worked from a dramatic perspective. Also, wasn't it interesting that the ship acted as an antenna for the music? Ben Scheelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02226714676726184629noreply@blogger.com
